SBI PO 2025 Vacancy

The SBI PO 2025 notification has announced a total of 541 vacancies for Probationary Officers. This includes 500 regular vacancies and 41 backlog vacancies across various categories like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and UR. Horizontal reservation is also provided for PwBD candidates in accordance with government rules.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2025

To apply for SBI PO 2025, candidates must meet the eligibility conditions laid out in the official advertisement. These include a graduation degree completed by 30th September 2025, and an age range of 21 to 30 years as of 1st April 2025. Relaxations in the upper age limit are available for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

SBI PO 2025 Selection Process

The SBI PO recruitment process is designed to assess candidates through a structured three-phase selection system. Phase I is the Preliminary exam, Phase II is the Mains exam (including a descriptive test), and Phase III consists of a Group Exercise, Interview, and a Psychometric Test. Candidates must qualify each phase to proceed to the next.

Final Selection

According to the SBI PO 2025 notification, the final selection will be made based on candidates' performance in the Mains exam and the Interview & Group Exercise (Phase III). Marks obtained in the Preliminary exam will not be included in the final merit list. The combined score is normalized to 100, with weightage given to each phase as per SBI’s recruitment policy.

  • Mains (Objective + Descriptive) marks: 250 (scaled to 75)

SBI PO Salary Structure

The official notification outlines a competitive salary structure for SBI Probationary Officers. The starting basic pay is ₹48,480 with four advance increments. Officers are entitled to multiple benefits including HRA, DA, medical facilities, pension under NPS, and more. The annual CTC at a metro city like Mumbai is approximately ₹20.43 lakhs.
