Education Qualification for NIT Hamirpur Posts:

For Lab Engineer:

Education Qualification: 1st class in B.Tech. (ECE) and M.Tech. in VLSI Design / Microelectronics / Embedded Systems (6.5 CGPA or 60% marks).

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge and use of VLSI tools like Cadence/ Mentor/ Xilinx/ Synopsis, etc. Expertise in design techniques and signal processing related to vocoder design, memory array and circuit design, characterization, Schematic, Layout and parameters extraction.

For Project Associate:

Education Qualification: 1st class in B.Tech. (ECE) & M.Tech. (VLSI design / Embedded Systems / E&CE) with 6.5 CGPA (or 60% marks).

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Linux, LAN & VLSI EDA software, their installation, maintenance and usage. Sound knowledge of VLSI design and technology for design & implementation of vocoder, memory arrays, VLSI circuits, etc. with expertise in schematic and layout design.
